Pooja Bhamrrah has been managing her work-life balance by traveling between Bengaluru and Mumbai every other week for the past eight years. While her work is based in Mumbai, she is married to entrepreneur Gurpreet Singh in Bengaluru. The former model gained fame for her role as an airline crew member in the Hindi film Crew, which also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon in prominent roles. In a recent conversation, Pooja shared her experience working with these talented actors and how it influenced her performance. She mentioned that she was pleasantly surprised by the response to her character in Crew and how it has opened up new opportunities for her in the acting industry. Despite initially aspiring to become a Miss India and pursuing engineering in biotechnology, Pooja stumbled into modelling, which eventually led her to discover her passion for acting. Acting was never part of her original plan, but after experiencing it, she realized that it was her true calling and made the decision to transition from modelling to acting."My parents have been incredibly supportive, and since getting married, I am fortunate to have a partner who is just as supportive," she shares. "I firmly believe in the concept of destiny." Currently, Pooja is focused on finding a balance between her professional and personal life. "I believe people now understand that it's the quality of the script that determines the success of any project. Celebrities can only take a film so far; ultimately, it's the storyline that counts. I have been attending more auditions and discussions, and the upcoming year appears to hold more promise. I have a strong belief in destiny. If you remain open and receptive, the universe will guide you. You simply need to be willing to see the signs, recognize them, and take that leap of faith. With a sense of maturity, I have come to understand the importance of maintaining a balanced life. Previously, my life revolved around work, work, and more work. However, I now realize the significance of living a well-rounded life - making time for family and pursuing other personal passions. As an actress, the more authentically you live, the richer your contributions to the camera and screen become," she elaborates.
